2014 center Jahlil Okafor has received an offer from UConn. Okafor is the top rated center in his class. At 6'11, Okafor possesses great size and mobility for a post player and is widely regarded as one of the top big men in the country regardless of class.
“I'm in contact with Coach Ollie from UConn,” Okafor told UConnBall.com earlier this month. “Of course they just won a championship, but they're a big name school and they're known for developing big men and putting them in the pros.”
"I haven't really communicated much with UConn, but my dad has spoke with them, and he talks to Coach [Kevin] Ollie."
Okafor is distant relative of former Husky All-American, Emeka Okafor.
