Huntington Prep's newest member Dominic Woodson caught up with Coast 2 Coast Hoops to breakdown his recently released final 10 school list. The schools that made the cut for the 6-foot-10, 265 pound big man are North Carolina State, Baylor, Texas A&M, UConn, Memphis, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Kentucky, Cincinnati and Tennessee.
North Carolina State: "They have a great coaching staff that came to see me play a lot this July. They always have good players coming in and I want to get on campus real soon. I would definitely make a good fit there."
Baylor: "Baylor is very close to home. They have a great coaching staff and a very nice campus that I've been on a few times.
Texas A&M: "They're real close to home too. They have a great coaching staff and they saw me play a lot. I've visited there a bunch of time as well."
UConn: "I visited them when I was at Vermont Academy. Coach Calhoun and Coach Ollie are very cool guys. They get a lot of big men to the next level, and I like that about them."
Memphis: "I don't know that much about Memphis. I've spoken to Coach Pastner a few times and he's a real cool coach. I could be an instant impact there."
Oklahoma: "They have great coaches. Oklahoma was one of the first schools to offer me and they're close to home."
Rhode Island: "They have a great environment on campus and Coach Hurley and Coach Murphy are great coaches."
Kentucky: "Kentucky hasn't offered yet but Coach Antigua has called me a bunch of times. They've seen me play a bunch of times too. I could see myself playing there."
Cincinnati: "Coach Cronin is a great coach and he has a great history with his big men like Yancy Gates. I want to take a visit there soon."
Tennessee: " Tennessee has a great program with a great coaching staff. I would make an instant impact there."
Woodson later added that he wants to cut his list down to 5 schools, and take an official visit to each school. He has no timetable on his decision yet.
