UConn Ball had the opportunity to catch up with 6-foot-5 2014 St. Thomas Aquinas (GA) combo guard Ahmed Hill.
Hill has had an incredible junior season so far, and he's been turning heads because of the great numbers he puts up each game. His St. Thomas Aquinas squad is currently 20-6 and are playing in the state playoffs.
Since the summer, Ahmed has improved on all aspects of his game; from ball handling to on-the-ball defense.
In recent weeks, Hill says that Florida has been recruiting him extremely hard and has extended a scholarship to him. To go along with Florida, the elite combo guard is listing UConn, Indiana, Marquette, Texas, North Carolina State, Georgia and Georgia Tech, among others.
As far as UConn goes with Ahmed's recruitment, they are still very much involved. Kevin Ollie has been down to check out Hill numerous times in the past few months. With Augusta (GA) native and former UConn guard Ricky Moore on staff, although he can't recruit Ahmed, this puts UConn in great shape with the flashy guard.
Expect a decision from Hill sometime in the fall.
